1. The rise and fall of Hadar Muchtar.

For anyone who’s followed the 24-year-old computer-science graduate since her run for the Knesset in 2022, as the then co-founder and leader of the Tzeirim Boarim (“Youth on Fire”) party, Hadar’s posts on social media this past week, begging Netanyahu to wave the necessary bureaucratic wand to exempt her from the mandatory party membership tenure required to run in the Likud primaries tomorrow (August 17), made you start to feel bad for her.
