The quietest tape of the month is sitting atop the loudest setup since spring. Total crypto volume was about $32 billion on Saturday, a ghost town, while the S&P just closed at a record with its best week since April.
The weekend story is still Friday’s jobs shock. The US LOST 23,000 jobs in July, and the September hike trade got cut in half. Polymarket now prices a hold at 62.5% with a hike at 35.5%. Bad news is good news again. I don’t make the rules, I farm them, kek.
BTC is at $64.9K as of right now. THE level is $65,000, rejected three times this week, with the weekly 200MA at $63,777 underneath. Daan calls it a 10%+ move loading. Eight months of chopsolidation, and the weekly closes are now compressing right on top of that moving average. Something will resolve soon; don’t get bearholed two days before it does.
Macro block, quickly: gold tagged $4,411 and settled near $4,350, China’s central bank bought a 21st straight month, oil dropped 7% on the week as a Hormuz deal got close, VIX sits at a complacent 14.9, and DXY is under 100.
TradFi tape: PLTR +10.3% Friday for its best week since 2024, and Oracle closed green while its credit default swaps sit at record highs. More on that circus in the AI stocks section.
Crypto reads: spot BTC ETFs pulled $1 billion this week, the best since April, on volume nobody showed up for, IBIT took $693 million of it alone. And Bitcoin’s “civil war” ended in comedy; the BIP-110 fork mined two blocks and stopped. Two blocks. Revolution canceled.
One more: the Senate started formal floor action on the CLARITY Act hours before leaving for break, closure vote September 15. Same week as the FOMC.
Book it, September 15 is now the loudest date on the calendar.
Went deep on the jobs print in Friday’s edition, the market spent the whole weekend agreeing with us.

The trap: stonkbrokers.vip is a PHISHING CLONE advertising a “live free mint” - the real mint ended July 17. And keep the size honest: one collection is ~96% of the chain’s NFT market cap, held by 614 wallets. This is a one-flagship season with a long, thin tail.
The chain took a day-long nap this week, and traders shrugged it off. RobinHub season might continue next week, and it might be WORTH watching.
