Jackson Hole week! Pump it, dump it, then pump it again: I DON’T CARE. Much higher. GM.
Let me start with the thing half of you need to hear: you did NOT miss anything. Chill.
Look at the level we’re sitting at right now, a massive move straight into a monster resistance area, with the 50 and 100-week EMAs combining right around $80,000. Chop comes sooner or later here, I’m more than sure of it. Enjoy it. Be on the lookout, try new things, find the most important fundamentally sound projects, and once you pull the trigger: DO NOT GET SHAKEN OUT. That’s how we roll, you’re either made for it or not.
As I’m typing this, Bitcoin is at $79K, fresh off the largest weekly gain since March 2023. And today I’m moving THE line in the sand to $70K. If Bitcoin goes under it and starts closing lower on higher timeframes, something is wrong. Always look at both sides of the coin. BUT, as I repeat for ages now, I’m extremely bullish long term from here.
Dips will come. Look for a $70-75K retest IF the pullback gets initiated into the end of the month, explained perfectly right here. And for the extreme long-term bullishness, keep your eyes peeled on these levels into the monthly close; the months that closed above the rolling 365-day average have historically done so with sizable gains. Exciting times. These moving averages will help guide you too.
Missed the pump? Watch this one, because I will keep repeating to everyone that we haven’t seen NOTHING yet. It’s all coming; take it slow. Or think about it simply, just as Jordi does, the 200 MA is the key, listen here. Another account worth following is Syko; he was sharing our sentiment of $60K being THE LOW this whole year.
The week itself is loaded: Wednesday is the everything day: July core PCE, the second Q2 GDP estimate, durable goods, then NVDA earnings after the close, on the same day Hyperliquid’s AQAv2 flips on. Jackson Hole runs Thursday through Saturday, Warsh gives his first keynote as Chair on Friday morning, and September prices roughly 67% hold, 32% hike.
Meanwhile, the Bessent story I explained on Friday keeps growing; the Treasury could tap nearly a trillion dollars of cash to fund those bond buybacks. Oh, and his Iran sanctions press conference is at 2 pm ET today, keep half an eye on oil.
