alright first thing’s first —
We’ll be taking our work up to Maine this summer for a week of rewriting, collaborating, and mingling with other new musical theatre creators. We’re so honored to be one of the selections by Drama Club Productions (Currently co-producing Cats: The Jellicle Ball on Broadway, and Mexodus Off-Broadway, among other projects.)

Rewrites! Lots and lots of rewrites. Jessi has been using notes from our table reading last month to explore new ideas and flesh out existing ones. Daniel has been cleaning up and revising our vocal scores, so we’ll have some beautiful sheet music just in time for the staged reading.
Not much more to share than that - you’ll have to see what we’re brewing up on April 29th, 2026, at Tacoma Little Theatre!

Daniel is music directing Spring Awakening at Tacoma Little Theatre, March 6 - 29th. You can get your tickets here!
Jessi has a 10 minute play featured in Oregon Contemporary Theatre’s NW10 play festival in Eugene, OR! You can get tickets here (and if you come to the closing matinee, you can catch the playwright talkback directly after the show.)

Tuesday, April 7th - (unannounced special Seattle event 🤭)
Wednesday, April 29th - Hijinx & Sue staged reading at Tacoma Little Theatre! Tickets should be live by the next newsletter!
