There’s a conveyor belt for getting girls onto billionaire yachts. I’ve seen it from the inside, because I’m at those parties too. Just as the captain. ⚓

Girls show up thinking, this is the night, I’ll walk onto one of these boats and meet my destiny, and what a story to tell the kids one day.

But the security guy at the gate already knows the owner’s type and waves in exactly one look, nothing else. Every night, same thing.

And most of these men are taken. Wife at home, sometimes the family’s on the boat that same day, and there’s still a party that night. Everyone looks the other way.

So how do you get in on the fun without becoming somebody’s Tuesday? 🥂

Here’s the lifehack I’ve used my whole life: if you can’t compete on wealth, be weird instead. Be different.

It takes a few grand and one week to become a yacht captain. And the second you can drive a boat, you stop being decoration and start being interesting. People want you there for you. Side bonus: you can host the whole thing yourself. ⛵

People love telling me in the comments that I don’t look like I belong on a superyacht. First, correct, I don’t captain a superyacht. Second, honey, being wealthy does not come with good taste, or good looks for that matter. I fit in perfectly.

And I’ve been to a dozen of these parties, so I’ll say it with full confidence: the ones we throw at Hidden Jam are 10x better. Happens all the time. We dock next to a 200-foot, three-deck floating hotel, gym, jet skis, jacuzzis, the works 🛥️ and within an hour the people from that hundred-million-dollar yacht are barefoot on our tiny boat, singing “We Are Young” at the top of their lungs.

So no, we don’t do superyachts. But I promise you we have more fun. And that after one trip, you’ll probably want to become a captain yourself.
