Long hours. Irregular meals. No time for a doctor’s visit. Does it sound familiar?

At Transport Nagar, Nigdi (Pune), Healing Hands Foundation joined hands with Bridgestone India Sarthi Support Centre and Jijau Clinic, Nirman to organize a health awareness and check-up camp for truck drivers.

27 drivers came forward for consultations, counselling, and free plant-based medicines.

From Jijau Clinic and Sarthi Support Centre, we thank Ashok Dadas (Manager), Ajinkya Avarsarmol (Centre Assistant), Krushna Nimbalkar (Optometrist), Dr. Manisha Chaughule, and ANM Asha Rithe for their dedicated role in making this drive possible.

From Healing Hands Foundation, Dr. Ashwini Pargewar led the consultations, Anita Said (Camp Coordinator) managed the flow, Sheetal Bhosale (Camp Assistant) distributed medicines, while Anand Mishal and Damodar Aadhao supported logistics and patient care.

This initiative reflects the vision of our founders, Dr Ashwin Porwal (President,HHF) and Dr Snehal Porwal (Secretary, HHF), who believe everyone, drivers included, deserves timely care and dignity. With continued support from Mrs. Madhura Bhate (NGO Coordinator, HHF), Dr Nilesh Ahirrao (Program Manager,HHF), and Mukund Dudhale (Consultant, HHF), we are committed to reaching professions often left underserved.
