Stop Making New Content, Start Reusing The Best

My best-performing video this year was published in late 2024.

I found this out the boring way: I opened YouTube Studio, filtered to this year, and sorted my top 10 videos by views. Number one wasn’t anything I’d made recently. It was something I’d basically forgotten about. Still, it had pulled in 170,000 views in 2026 alone, without me promoting it once this year.

Nobody resurfaces old content better than YouTube does.

I was showing this trick to a coaching client with a much bigger channel than mine, and their top videos told the same story. Content from over a year ago, still quietly pulling in views every week, and still without a single lead magnet attached to any of it.

So here’s what we did: took the transcript from the best-performing video, ran it through an AI tool, turned it into a short downloadable PDF. Gated it behind an email signup. Linked it in the video description and pinned comment.

That’s it. No new filming. No new idea. Just a video that was already working, hooked up to a way of capturing the people watching it.

For me, one video like that has brought in 5,000 leads and hundreds of course sales, just from people who were already watching anyway.

Your best lead magnet is probably already filmed. It just needs a PDF and a signup form.

P.S. If you’ve got videos, posts, or emails already performing and no system turning that attention into subscribers, that’s exactly the kind of gap I close inside Inbox to Income. [Apply here ]
