After having tried out OpenBSD and being very happy with it, I decided to also try out FreeBSD; but instead of using it as a server OS, I wanted to find out how viable it would be as a desktop OS!

After posting my setup on Mastodon, I got some helpful comments that allowed me to improve upon the config a bit, making it much nicer!
I decided to get a new OpenBSD-based VPS and migrate all my websites to OpenBSD. The VPS acts as a load balancer and webserver. Connected to the VPS via WireGuard is an OpenBSD VM in my apartment. The loadbalancer balances between the webserver on the VPS and the one I have running at home.
