My goal when I started this short 30 day sprint was to a) get back into writing, and b) learn about the Mouse Whisperer app as a user rather than the builder.
I definitely accomplished B. The app has improved immensely, and we have a clear roadmap for updates and features.
The writing has been a blast, but holy schmokes, that was way too much. You could probably tell from the last 2 post that there was little wind left in my sail.
I will move to just posting once a week. That seems more doable.
On Day #15 I talked about doing a brand reset for the website that I manage — which is not about redesigning the look of it, but about re-doing the content.
Which means the direction shifted.
Which means the marketing is changing.
Which means the strategy got an overhaul
Last week, I put some of the final touches on the new theme. It is not perfect, and their is a lot of content on the calendar to get to, but the stage is set to execute on the new strategy.
Like every ecommerce website, this is a never ending project. And we are fortunate that wrapping up this Mouse Whisperer series coincides with the launch of this new strategy, because now we get to take that journey together.
That is what I will be writing about once a week, along with comics and other random CRO or customer psychology topics.
If you want to run some tests on your site and see how they can increase conversions, we can do it. For free if you let me write about it.
Ok, more words, corny jokes, and CRO related ramblings coming this Friday.
Cheers,
Shep
PS. For the people out there who have followed along and read all of these posts, I really appreciate it.
