How to Build a Premium Client Onboarding Experience

Everything I build with AI starts with a problem. And this one had to do with our client onboarding process.

We’d cycled through it all. Email and Google Docs, then a pretty PDF, then HoneyBook. HoneyBook was functional, but I run a branding agency. The client experience should feel like the ByAriel vibe from the first click, and HoneyBook’s smart files just don’t give you that kind of design control.

So I built our own with AI. I didn’t full know what the solution looked like when I started and I think that’s totally fine. You bring the problem, the AI shows you options, the options trigger ideas you didn’t have walking in. You’re the creative director. AI is the paintbrush.
