Bonjour!!
In this video, you will find a sketchbook tour of two days I recently spent in Paris, along with some footage of the Matisse exhibition at Le Grand Palais which will run until the 26th July.
This HUGE exhibition focuses on his work between 1941-1954 and shows sketchbooks, letter correspondence, oil paintings on canvas, graphite sketches, decoupage, plans for stained glass windows and much more. Of course, my videography does not do it justice but hopefully it will offer a glimpse of the joy one can experience when seeing artwork by Henri Matisse.
