These Chan Luu pants: Perhaps the most fun pair of pants that I’ve had in quite some time. I didn’t expect to love them as much as I do, thinking they’d be bulky and unflattering on my frame. Turns out, I was wrong. Yes, they’re polyester which is annoying, but I don’t think they’d have the same look and drape if they were a more breathable material. With that said, I wore them on a day where it wasn’t 98 degrees, and I was perfectly fine. For sizing reference, they come in three sizes (1, 2 and 3) and I’m in the size 2. I wear between a 4/6 and a size 28 in jeans. I’m quite excited to style them for fall.
I paired them with this Favorite Daughter slightly cropped top, which is perfect with my higher-waisted pieces, especially when I want a white tee without all the extra fabric and bulk. I’ve been reaching for it so often that it’s always in my hamper, so naturally, I already have another white one (and a black) sitting in my cart. It comes in multiple colors
Blue & Red as a color combo: If you’ve been following me for some time, you might know thatI love me some red. It’s always my go-to choice when I want a bold color. This summer, I’ve been pairing it with a lighter blue after being so inspired by the above image. While I’ll always be the New Yorker that leans heavily on neutrals, I have such a craving to infuse a bit more color into my wardrobe.
4. Medicube Just Dew & Just Glow Sunscreen: I used both interchangeably, and I’m still unsure of which one I prefer more. They’re affordable, have a high SPF, and leave skin nice and glowy
Chanel quilted flats in red: After years of searching for a pair of quilted bright red Chanel flats, I finally got my hands on them! I had to share the news with all of you, as many of you have been on this journey with me.
Heaven Mayhem Laptop Cover: I’m such a sucker for any pouch, journal, toiletry case or accessory that makes life a little more fun. Add this to the list. It makes me happy knowing my laptop is both protected, and sporting a stylish little over coat.
Vacation Orange Tele: Turns out, I’ve been sleeping under a rock. Yesterday, I shared the above photo on my Instagram stories, and a few of you let me know that it’s the new iconic Bain de Soleil and that Vacation bought the old formula!
I’ve made my first sweater purchase for fall, and it’s this one from Reformation. The neck detailing on it made it too hard to pass up. It’s even prettier in person.
Re/Done really does have the best vintage inspired tees. I now own two (the above Snoopy one and this Diet Coke one) and I have zero notes on the quality. They feel so nice and gauzy on the skin.
This clutch is one of my favorites from Liffner. And then there’s also this really good animal print one.
I will always have a special place in my heart for Ralph Lauren sweaters. There’s almost zero doubt that I’ll be getting one for fall. This teddy bear one is a top contender simply because it takes me back to my Queens high school days.
