Most people treat astrocartography like a Yelp list for vacation spots. Wrong use of the tool entirely.
That’s the reframe astrocartographer and business astrologer Yvonne Irene brought to this week’s episode of The Cycle Starters Podcast — her second time on the show.
Yvonne’s been studying astrology since 2009. She holds a psych degree, a master’s in counseling, and spent years as an elementary educator before building her practice around astrocartography, business astrology, and predictive timing. That background shows up in how she teaches — she’s not chasing mystical vibes, she’s building frameworks people can actually use.
We got into:
→ How the planetary lines on your astrocartography map intersect with the actual geography your ancestors lived in, and what that reveals about inherited patterns, gifts, and unfinished business
→ Why she used to be “the absolute doormat in all [her] relationships,” and what broke that pattern
→ Her position that astrocartography isn’t a luxury tool for the already-awake: “I feel astrocartography is for everyone”
→ What it means to use a map as an ancestral healing tool instead of a permission slip to relocate
Then I pulled Yvonne’s galactic chart, and it explained the entire conversation before we’d even finished having it.
Her Ascendant sits at 25° Sagittarius, conjunct the Galactic Center. Her IC is conjunct Tau Ceti. Her Descendant is conjunct Orion Saiph. And Uranus and Neptune are both conjunct Lyra Vega, in her 1st house.
Translation: she’s not just interested in the bridge between practical and mystical — she is the bridge. The Galactic Center on the Ascendant means people feel something different about her the moment she opens her mouth, whether or not they can name it. Tau Ceti at the IC means the systems thinking runs all the way down to her roots — this was never going to stay woo-only. And Vega anchored in the 1st house, touched by both Uranus and Neptune, means the spiritual wisdom isn’t a hat she puts on for readings. It’s identity.
If you’ve already done the healing work — the boundary-setting, the nervous system regulation, the ancestral clearing — and you’re starting to ask a bigger question (”what am I actually here to build with all of this”), this episode is for you. Yvonne isn’t offering comfort. She’s offering a map.
🗺️ She’s also leading a live workshop inside the Cosmic Awakening Circle (my highest tier membership on Substack) on August 4th: Mapping Your Roots: Exploring Ancestral Healing Through Astrocartography.
