When the Orangerie went out as purse canvases, the kitted version outsold canvas-only several times over. I had assumed anyone stitching at this level holds firm opinions about her own thread. I was wrong, in the most useful way a person can be wrong.
So the question is not whether you want the wool. You have answered that. The question is whether it holds at four times the size.
The Orangerie — which has only ever been a purse canvas — is now a fourteen-inch square. Thirteen mesh, interlock. And she arrives kitted: Appleton’s wool, every colour the design requires, already wound.
I made ten. Ten, because I would rather ask a small question than guess at a large one.
