THE STUDY

I want to make this corner of the internet a happy little place for woman to gather and share their thoughts. I’ve been sitting in the blank-walled room of my Substack for quite some time, wondering what it could become. Consider this the Joanna Gaines moment when she gets to work, choosing the colors, textures, and tiles.

Hypothetically speaking, I’ve sat at the meeting table and put together different tones and color palettes. I’ve seen others’ designs and gawked at their beauty. But there comes a point when you have to say, “It’s now or never. Let’s get to work.”

Imagine this space with moody navy walls, floral wallpaper that complements them, big leather chairs, and a candle that smells like sophistication and home all at the same time.

It’s a place where you’re served tea in a handmade mug and feel seen, heard, and known. Nothing is off-topic, and nothing is off the table.

The fireplace burns and we light a match and set fire to the logs of our thoughts we haven’t been able to stop pondering. Those thoughts become something. They burn brightly and provide warmth.

That’s what I want this to be.

I want to write more articles - with no particular theme, just a girl’s honest and real thoughts during a season of burning flames. They are fresh and hot off the fire.
