About a year ago I sat with the plant spirit of Huachuma, and during the ceremony my future me came through strongly, and was providing council on some life questions I had at the time. It was a beautiful conversation, my then self with the future self. At that point I was asking what choice to make, and future me said I would be happy if I said yes and followed my heart down that path that life was presenting. It also dawned on me, why am I not conversing with my older future self more often? She knows me inside and out, and has the lived experience that would directly support me, and very much wants to be connected and sharing her perspective.
To wrap my brain around this concept of future me talking to current me, I know that we are actually outside of time and our lives are not linear. There is the inner child younger version of me that I can converse with, and love and hold, and there is my older wiser crone self that sees life from her wise empowered perspective. And there is the me in one year from now, that is embodying the current potential I see in myself. There is even every version of me across lifetimes and dimensions that is available to connect to. With this, there is a state of being and an energetic signature that is available for me to embody now if I so choose. And you too.
So this hypnosis journey came to be, to bridge that gap. Right now I am really wanting the council of my “future” self, the woman I see myself becoming, as I sit in the terrain of the unknown, and hold on to to faith and trust as I allow my life to change. Rather than seeing the version of me that I want to be as some distant potential that I am hoping to become, I can speak to her now and embody the frequency, wisdom and energy she holds.
This journey is a result of my daily hypnotizing myself, as I watch my life change through making the inner world changes. It’s wild. And exciting. Change your inner world… and your external life changes too. We are that powerful.
