Dr. Ann Marie Navar explains how to select nonstatin therapies based on the degree of LDL lowering needed, patient preferences, and the treatment most likely to help patients achieve their LDL goals. Dr. Navar is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and she served on the Guideline Writing Committee.
