There is manifold purpose in personal destruction, and the fruit is contingent upon whether you’re a glass half full or glass half empty person. Whenever God has shut down or “destroyed” my life it’s because He's wanted something from me I wasn't giving - relative to my vocation; in this way, it wasn’t my FAULT / it’s not our FAULT or a punishment that our life is “falling apart” but rather a message. If you are an inherently negative or glass half empty person, though, you won’t hear God’s message.
