Content may be king 👑, but Engagement is queen ♕.
The most powerful lever you can pull to increase your engagement is creating better content. Second to that is interacting with your audience.
Facebook and other social networks don't want a bunch of people shouting to the crowd. They want real interaction -- fewer people standing on soapboxes and more people actually getting to know each other. You know, being social.
Pay attention to your feed today. Chances are that a majority of the posts you see are from people you interact with often (or most recently), whether in Messenger or the comment section of a post.
To take advantage of this, we came up with a number of posts that drive a significant amount of comments and potential for interaction.
This type of post is called an Engagement Post.
How to maximize the usefulness of Engagement Posts:
🔹 Respond to each comment!
The goal is to create a back and forth comment thread. Try to ask a question in your response that prompts further comments. Bonus points for taking the conversation to Messenger.
🔹 Post an Engagement Post before posts you want to bring added attention to.
🔹 Don't step on the post; let it get some traction.
In general, if you plan on posting more than once a day, spread the posts out by at least 3-4 hours.
🔹 Don't post it at weird hours.
There you go! Let us know how they work for you!
