Review of the Week: Farage beats bin, Labour goes private, and Britain burns.

Well, the biggest news Story this week, is that Nigel Farage has beaten a bin.

Farage called this vanity election after the investigations by the Parliamentary Standards Committee into undeclared donations began heating up.

Shortly after, all other political parties treated this stunt as just that, and refused to be part of it. This led to Farage spending his summer fighting a Bin.

The world over have mocked Farage, with CNN calling him a ‘hard right populist’

The best thing about the whole thing (apart from Binface’s incredible media interviews) has been that shortly after announcing his win, the Parliamentary Standards investigation resumes, so he is back to square one.

How has Farage handled winning?

Well, Farage’s first act as the newly elected MP for Clacton was to boycott the count and then lie about it. He told Sky News he didn’t go on the advice of Essex Police, which Essex police then revealed to be a complete lie.

He then also said he didn’t want to go as he didn’t want to be made fun of by ‘nobodies’ - those nobodies being his fellow candidates, local Clacton council workers and his own local activists. Nice.

But its not just Farage who is managing to be a sore winner. Richard Tice, his deputy, took to the airwaves and had a complete meltdown on LBC, as did Lee Anderson on TV. Both of whom declared the Police liars and enemies - this does not look like a party taking a victory lap - it looks like a party on the ropes.
