132nd SF Hardware Meetup #SF Climate Tech Week 250+ gathered at Sofar Ocean with Evan Shapiro (CTO, Sofar Ocean) on the Spotter ocean sensing platform, Susan (Co-founder & CEO, Novos Power) on megawatt-class solid-state transformers for AI data centers, and Sam (Co-founder & CEO, Aikido Technologies) on GW-scale floating offshore data centers.
116th NY Hardware Meetup @ Viam 330+ joined at Viam’s Lincoln Plaza HQ featuring Dr. Jun Liu (Founder of TouchTronix Robotics, SUNY Buffalo) on physical AI infrastructure for human-robot interaction, and Nicolas Palpacuer (Senior Software Engineer at Viam) on building barista and boat-sanding robots.
20th OAK Hardware Meetup 40+ joined the Oakland community at the Laurel Biergarten & Kitchen for a no-speakers, all hardware talk for a happy hour.
7th Munich Hardware Meetup @ Dassault Systèmes 80+ turned out for talks from Michael Masnitza (Co-founder & COO of ChargeX) and Tekant Gündoğan (Head of Engineering at Neuronic) on moving from Arduino prototypes to hardware production.
4th Phoenix Hardware Meetup @ Pipeline Design & Engineering 50+ Arizona engineers and product developers met in Tempe for talks from Silicon Valley entrepreneur Jim Willenborg (”Salespeople Cause Sales”) and Shawn Patterson of Crystal Sonic Inc on micro-mechanics and building tiny solid-state crystal-based lasers. 3rd Paris Hardware Meetup was an AI infrastructure edition featuring Steeve Morin (Founder, ZML), Stéphane Dutilleul (VP Hardware Engineering, Scaleway), Vincent Casillas (CTO, SiPearl), and Vincent Lorrain (Embedded AI, Vsora) — covering the full European AI stack. 2nd Miami Hardware Meetup gathered at The LAB Miami’s Wynwood campus during Miami Tech Week for demos and networking.
1st Prague Hardware Meetup @ Matuška 70+ gathered for the Prague kickoff with talks from Brian Walker (Co-founder & CEO of REVEL) and architect/designer Petr Vacek, plus open mic for physical demos.
London Hardware Meetup @ Plugged met at Shoreditch for pitch open mic and networking.
AI for Hardware Development and Design Reviews Dinner @ AllSpice HQ was a family-style dinner on accelerating hardware development with AI covering where AI works in design reviews and where it falls short. Hosted with AllSpice (makers of DRCY, an AI agent for hardware design reviews).
Hardware Pitch Night @ Studio 45 280+ joined for an evening of live pitches from 6 hard tech startups, including Sunchem (precision metal reclamation), Novos Power (solid-state transformers), Instromeda (self-driving bio research labs), and more. Feedback from VCs Megan Groves (Blue Vision Capital), Ryan Taylor (Bakar Labs), and Cece Xixi Zhao (Vectors Capital).
