Downsized Paolo Mori’s board game Dogs of War, replacing miniatures with meeples and transforming the board into integrated faction and battle track cards. Added new player screens including the Kickstarter-limited factions, custom reference cards, and moved the value track to box bottom.
Re-designed Carl Chudyk’s trick-taking card game Crash!. The original game was themed around car crashes, but my version is all about cute things.
Root has a lot of factions and sometimes it’s more fun to go with a random faction combination that still feels balanced.
Re-designed William Attia’s game Spyrium with a focus on enhanced visual clarity and ease of learning, replacing the original steampunk aesthetic with a flat, high-contrast style and adding text explanations for key elements.
Re-designed Emerson Matsuuchi’s card game Century: Spice Road with a significantly smaller footprint, opting for bridge-sized cards and a compact box to streamline the overproduced original. Features Alessio Issupoff’s “Samarkand” artwork.
Oversaw the creation of the new Estonian Police website (Politsei.ee), managing analysis, design, user testing, and development of the high-traffic public resource. Delivered a fast, mobile-friendly, and SEO-optimized website built with JamStack.
Designed and illustrated Võlujooks, a light family game of strategic character drafting for a whimsical relay, which was published in 2016 after winning an Estonian board game competition.
Re-imagined Uwe Rosenberg’s card game Bohnanza as Jelly Bean Trade, swapping the original bean puns and loud visuals for a more minimal and palatable jelly bean aesthetic. Rules mostly kept same, still the same fun trading game.
Re-skinned Wolfgang Kramer’s card game 6 nimmt with a Patapon rhythm game theme. Replaced bull heads with iconic PATA and PON sounds and added a portable coin pouch instead of a traditional box.
Re-designed Tom Lehmann’s card game The City into a language-independent version, successfully replacing all card text with a clear and intuitive iconographic system.
Designed the production art and illustrations for the Estonian card game “Tark Mees Taskus,” following an initial concept phase. Combined Muhu folk art motifs with a family-friendly character style.
