I may have never told you this, but the idea for Ritualy actually began over a year ago — in April 2025, to be exact.

At the time, I envisioned creating an app that could support people with their personal growth and well-being through structured programs personalized to their individual needs. Instead of giving everyone the same prompts, exercises, or advice, AI could shape each journey around what someone was going through, what they wanted to change, and the kind of support they needed along the way.

After months of iterations, experiments, and pivots, John, our technical co-founder, and I eventually arrived at Ritualy. We launched the first version in May, bringing that vision to life.

But launching the app taught us more than we could ever have learned while building it.

As we watched people use Ritualy, we quickly saw where the experience could become more intuitive, more engaging, and more useful in everyday life.

That realization led us to redesign the experience again.

Today, the personalized journey remains at the heart of Ritualy, but it is now complemented by the coach you choose.

Our vision is for Ritualy to become the first place you think of when you need someone to talk to, work through a challenge, ask for advice, or simply make sense of what you’re going through.

That’s why we created 6 coaches, each with their own personality, voice, and coaching style.

Open Ritualy to meet each coach and hear their voice.

Whether you choose Emma, Julian, Naomi, Marcus, Chloe, or Oliver, our hope is that, over time, you’ll find one you genuinely feel connected to and look forward to talking to every day.

The biggest change in the new Ritualy is that you no longer have to rely only on writing. You can now speak directly with your coach through voice.

Your coach already knows what you are working on, remembers what you have shared before, and can respond with the context of your journey in mind.

In many ways, this is what makes Ritualy feel less like a program and more like an ongoing coaching relationship.

Your coach doesn’t just remember what you’ve shared. It helps you make sense of it.

Every conversation becomes part of something bigger. Ritualy organizes your reflections into summaries, key insights, recurring patterns, and progress over time, making it easier to understand yourself and continue growing.

We’ve also completely redesigned the onboarding experience. Instead of answering just a handful of questions, you’ll now have a natural conversation that helps Ritualy understand your story, your concerns, what you’ve already tried, what tends to hold you back, and what you hope to achieve.

By taking the time to understand you first, Ritualy can create a much more personalized transformation plan and coaching experience from the very beginning.

Alongside our guided 30-day journeys, you can now create personalized 12-week transformation plans for bigger, longer-term goals.

Every transformation follows the same five stages: Awareness, Reframing, Action, Reinforcement, and Identity — guiding you from insight to lasting change.

Every reflection, conversation, and journal entry is securely stored in your private Ritualy journal. Your data belongs to you and only you.

As your journey unfolds, Ritualy helps you uncover recurring patterns, key insights, and the progress you’ve made along the way.

More than a journal, Ritualy becomes a living record of your growth.

This is much more than a redesign. It’s a big step toward the vision John and I had from the very beginning.

If you tried Ritualy when we first launched, I’d love for you to experience it again.

Welcome to the new Ritualy…
