If you know me, you know I love a good idea.
Honestly… I might even love dreaming up an idea more than checking the box that says it’s finished.
Give me a blank house, a restaurant concept I’ll probably never open, a vacation six months away, or a friend with a wild business idea, and my brain is immediately off to the races. It’s equal parts gift and character flaw.
Which brings me to Pinterest.
For years, I’ve joked that I just want to live inside my Pinterest boards.
I mean… humble brag, I have pretty pins. But, more than that, they’re where an idea finally starts making sense to me. Once I’ve pinned enough images, I can almost breathe a sigh of relief and think, There it is. There is the complete idea.
So I thought it would be fun to open a few of my SECRET boards.
Some are actively being used for client projects right now. One being a hospitality project I’m collaborating on with a dear friend. We both have a hard time leaving well enough alone, but with the best intentions. One “what if…” and forty-five minutes later we’ve completely reimagined a room neither of us intended to talk about that day. This board has become our shared rabbit hole.
Other boards are a little more… aspirational. The dream house a few streets over that I’ve mentally renovated approximately 47 times.
Some of these boards will become finished projects. Others will simply remain beautiful ideas. And honestly, I’m equally happy with both.
So here’s a peek beyond the curtain…
