Welcome my fellow Americans. Today I write to you about Democratic-Socialism, an anti-American philosophy led by Senator Bernie Sanders, AOC, and Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
I am sure most of you know AOC stands for Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. I have never met the congresswoman or the mayor, but back in the days when we both served together, Bernie and I in the United States House of Representatives, enjoyed bantering back-and-forth on our positions. He called me a fascist, and I called him a communist.
I think that was a way that we could both say you’re entitled to your opinion, but i don’t think much of it. I will say Bernie was an outstanding human being down to earth, friendly, helpful , likable, but unfortunately very poorly informed on issues that strongly affected the American people.
I always told him I would defend to his death, his right to be wrong. I haven’t seen or talked to him in over 10 years, but I really doubt that he’s changed very much based upon what I have heard and seen on TV.
I find the congresswoman and the mayor both to be charismatic leaders. Well, Bernie is just Bernie. He’s everybody’s a little crazy grandfather.
But unfortunately, in my opinion, they and others have a movement going not only in New York but in other places across this land of liberty and fortress of freedom that is very detrimental to the American way of life that has done so much for so many for so long.
And that’s not only for Americans, but for mankind around the world. And just what is it these Democratic socialists support and want to see become the new American way of life: free transportation, free junior college tuition, free day care, free health care, open borders, and unlimited immigration.
Of course doing away with ICE as we have no need for it any longer. We have no one to deport. Do away with the use of all Fossil Fuels, and establish and run government food stores. And they say they believe in one person one vote so they support doing away with the senate and electoral college.
By now I am sure most of you have heard enough, and are also saying this cannot be true.
But I guarantee you every one of these policy positions are supported by a significant segment of the Democratic Socialist.
One last policy position I believe all Democratic Socialist support is stopping all our aid and support for Israel.
Israel our number one friend and ally in the Middle East since the days of President Harry Truman has been abandoned by almost half of the Democratic members of the United States House of Representatives, so I would have to say the Democratic Socialists of America are already having a significant negative effect upon Democrats in the House. It’s something I thought I would never see.
So far, the Democratic socialist have been succeeding, not only by advocating so many different free things to people, but also by creating activities bringing younger people together where they can be taught the great virtues of socialism for the masses.
Some of these are having what they call Coffee with Comrades, Socialism 101 course, organizing book clubs, hosting board game nights, organizing softball and basketball leagues, and setting up World Cup watch parties.
They are organizing trips for young democrats to learn the opinions of their fellow democrats and the opinions of the leaders of the Democratic Socialists of America.
Organizing concerts with music for young people. I believe we are witnessing a fight for the heart and soul of the Democratic Party. And perhaps for the heart and soul of America I pray the American people realize what a great country this is and how it got to be this great country.
No, it is not perfect but it’s the closest thing to perfect, we’ve ever had on this planet, and I hope the American people are prepared to stand up and fight for the American way by working politically, by speaking out about issues and by voting for candidates who still believe in the American way of life.
