TL;DR - In 2026.H1, I started feeling like a real dad, took parental leave, went to a programming retreat, shipped CloudSeed Rust + QuietCut, reached 130k views, got back to building for fun, and started an AI diet.

TL;DR - In 2026.Q1 I participated in a 12-week programming retreat, published my 1,000th blog post, started building with Rust, solidified my agentic engineering workflows, shipped my first game, started walking more, played Pokopia, and might’ve found

TL;DR - In 2026.02, I built an AI orchestrator, launched CloudSeed Rust, moved to a terminal-focused dev workflow, wrote several posts, stuck to my exercise routines, and generally led a very balanced life.

TL;DR - In 2026.01, I started parental leave, started my Recurse Center batch, began learning Rust, released my first Rust crate, read 6 (short) books, built a web game, got a bowling ball, wrote 19 posts and hit 1000 blog posts on my blog, improved my vibe engineering workflows, and generally tried to figure out how to be a stay-at-home-dad.

TL;DR - In 2025 I had a baby, got a new job, vibe coded projects, lived in Atlanta, reached 423k people, stopped drinking coffee, blocked scrolling apps, moved from Windows to Linux (again), read 10 books, and played 24 video games.

TL;DR - Enjoying the holidays, gearing up for my parental leave, and building where I can.

In 2025.Q3, I went back to work after having a child, child turned 3 months, I barely built anything, I went outside more, and realized kids are expensive.

In 2025.07 I celebrated baby turning 1 month old, went back to work, vibe engineered a C# library, rebranded HAMY LABS, soft launched HAMY SHOP, and received a lot of support from family and friends.

In 2025.H1 I turned 31, had a baby, got a new remote job, started running again, made a few financial bets, didn't build much, and wrote 52 essays.

High: Having fun with new job.
