Night, absence of sound, and David Bowie. I think I already mentioned a bunch of times in my previous not numerous posts that David Lynch is my favourite director.
Recently, I've again started going to cinema quite regularly; I'm happy to do so, even when watching films I don't like and being locked out on the roof in the middle of the night.
Bergman's films are melodic and lullabying, while emotionally dragging and existential crisis inducing. They are exceptionally visually stunning – every frame is beautiful.
I'd say, this Christmas I was anticipating to watch Hitchcock's Rope a bit more than Lanthimos' Lobster – I am yet to see the latter and I am full of thoughts about the former.
When earlier this week I was told that Yorgos Lanthimos' new film, Bugonia was out in cinemas, it was no doubt that we were coming to see it.
It's almost Christmas, which means I can recommend you films to remind you of summer.
