Oh hey, look at this! The South Street District highlighted me and my banner! It’s been really exciting to see this project come to life. I wanted to make something fun that celebrates people letting loose and dancing together, and the fact that if you head to South Street you never know what you’ll see like a pigeon stealing a slice of pizza! I’ll keep you posted on where they end up hanging my art. I can’t wait!
Now onto some more Things Worth Sharing!
My other Summer art project has been collaborating with my friend Sarah on her music launch. I made some EP and T-shirt art inspired by some really beautiful songs that she wrote. She has a spectacular launch plan that includes music, art and AERIALISTS! You can read more about it in her newsletter. I’ll share some more as the event approaches on 9/11 and 9/12.
Elliott’s been making some art of his own. He went to glass camp at East Falls Glassworks and made some real treasures. I was so proud of him!
My friend Mary raved about this installation, Sky Space by James Terrell, at the Chestnut Hill Meeting House. Adding it to my art bucket list.
