About

A special feature is the possibility to choose a fixed subtitle delay. By this means, one does not have to provide an audio vs. sub offset but can pick the first word’s absolute timestamp instead.

Negative delays are support as well, the three different units are simply summed up. While this might become confusing, this allows for fine-tuning with a smaller granularity. The overall applied time shift (in ms) gets appended to the download filename.

If you encounter encoding issues when syncing valid .srt subs, please make sure the input file is in UTF-8.

Worth mentioning might also be that your privacy is preserved: No data is actually transferred, as all your subtitles are processed locally in your browser. In fact, hackitude cannot tell which subs are resynced or even whether any subtitles were fixed at all.
