“There’s only one thing in life, and that’s the continual renewal of inspiration.” - Diana Vreeland
I look forward to being back in Paris next week for real life street style inspiration, until then, I’ll continue to make due with some celebrity style inspiration. These outfits are all perfect for the fickle weather we’ve all been experiencing this April, but most importantly, they’re easy to tweak for every budget.
Kendall Jenner was photographed in Los Angeles in an outfit that anyone can replicate for running errands or school pick up. She’s wearing the very expensive cashmere jacket from The Row. There is a slightly less expensive cotton version but other more reasonable options include the navy ‘S MAX MARA virgin wool jacket, the Weekend Max Mara Sweater Jacket, and the Tuckernuck Navy Boucle Barrett Coat.
We can’t see what she’s wearing under the jacket so I’d suggest a simple white tee and light cashmere sweater. All the cashmere at Naadam is currently 25% off during their Friends and Family Sale too. Other options are this navy v-neck cashmere sweater and this $50 navy cashmere sweater. I also like this navy crewneck sweater.
I think she’s wearing Levi’s so you could try those or these Frame jeans that are currently 30% off. An easy way to restyle this outfit for a sunny spring day is to swap in white jeans or white pants. I always see a lot of white jeans with navy jackets and coats in the spring in Paris.
She’s wearing black square toed flats from The Row if you want the exact look but I’d suggest adding something more fun like the Veronica Beard woven leather flats. Other options include leopard flats, t-strap flats, and suede loafers.
Her burgundy bag is the new $9,300 Chanel Maxi Flap Bag. It’s impossible to find even if you can afford it so other similar bags I would recommend are the burgundy Reformation Oversized Tote, this burgundy tote, and this Khaite burgundy shoulder bag.
She is wearing her vintage Gucci sunglasses so new options I like are these black sunglasses or this less expensive pair. I had to get a eye exam to renew my driver’s license and the optician made sure I had sunglasses before I left on the sunniest day this week. Sunglasses are UV protection for your eyes and not just a fashion accessory so be careful when buying super cheap sunglasses.
I’d add a reasonably priced gold bracelet for fun.
She looks like she could be carrying a Louis Carman leather journal but this leather journal is another option.
If you need a skin refresh for spring, you should try Biossance Omega Repair Deep Hydration Moisturizer with Ceramides and Hyaluronic Acid + Squalane. You can buy it during the Sephora Savings Event which starts for Rouge members on April 10, 2026. You can save 10-20% off through April 20, 2026.
Not sure what she likes to read but I’d suggest The Story of Marceau Miller which is a psychological thriller set around Lake Geneva that has been translated from the original French book.
Gwyneth Paltrow wore this full navy outfit a few weeks ago on a chilly day for the New York Women in Film & Television 46th Annual Muse Awards.
I talk a lot about adding something to your outfit that amuses the eye. In this case, GP and her shiny blonde hair is the thing that catches your eye. For the rest of us mere mortals, I would change up the color of the accessories.
The navy jacket that she’s wearing is the Gwyn Suki Coat and navy pleated Beatrice Skirt if you want the exact outfit.
If I was styling this outfit for myself or someone else, I’d swap out the short navy jacket for a blue wool trench coat or this pale blue trench coat.
She wore a navy blue shirt under the jacket but you know how much I love a pale blue shirt from my recent Substack post so I’d suggest this blue shirt.
The navy color of the Jude Date Mules she wore are sold out but you can find other colors here and here.
I’d style the outfit with white pumps like these, these, or these. Or these white peep toe mules.
Even her Kelly bag was navy but I’d swap that out for a vintage Hermès Kelly bag in rouge h. Other options include this one, this one, this one, this one, and this one.
I’d add a small Prada scarf that pulls all the colors together and a little pair of gold hoops.
If you have bright blonde hair like Gwyneth, you might want to try Olaplex No.3 Complete Repair Treatment to keep it strong and healthy.
The Palm House is a '“a droll and quietly evocative novel about work, friendship, family, and the path, often muddled, toward finding one’s place in life”. It’s set in London and sounds like something GP would read and recommend after it’s released on April 14, 2026.
Whether you loved or hated Love Story, I am glad that it introduced actress Sarah Pidgeon to many of us. I look forward to seeing what projects she takes on next and her future outfits. I’ve loved everything she wore on her press tour and during fashion week in Milan and Paris. She wore this all Celine outfit in Paris and it can very easily be replicated.
If you really want her exact jacket, it’s this Celine Peplum Jacket. This black workwear jacket is a great alternative. I also love this jacket, this one, this one, and this one.
It looks like she’s just wear a white tee but it’s still cold here so I’d throw on a black cashmere sweater. This black cashmere sweater is just $50.
She’s even wearing Celine denim but they appear to be sold out so I’d suggest these dark jeans.
Her outfit is perfect for Paris and I love the black Celine loafers but I’d add some color in the form of these dark plum suede flats. I would also consider these glossy dark red flats, these lavender Mary Jane slingbacks, and these purple suede flats. These pale lilac flats are a very nice budget friendly option.
I didn’t see what bag she was carrying but I love this black leather shoulder bag. She was seen wearing a Balenciaga Rodeo bag in another photo so you could try that one in black too.
The exact sunglasses she’s wearing are the KHAITE x Oliver Peoples 1961C.
I’d finish things off with a fun gold necklace and Sofie Pavitt sunscreen since it’s now very sunny outside and we all need to protect our skin.
I wish I could see what book she’s carrying but Paper Cut is a page-turning thriller that will keep you and Sarah enthralled on your next long flight.
Dua Lipa was in New York recently for a Nespresso event looking very chic.
I wish I could find her coat but since I can’t, I’d recommend this black coat instead. This black coat is a great less expensive option.
Her white strapless dress was very expensive Versace but I love this white Patou gathered cotton midi dress. This white jersey midi dress is another option. This white dress is a little sexier.
Her shoes were white Louboutins but since we’re a little farther into spring, I’d switch them out to Fendi block heel sandals.
I don’t know what bag she carried so I’d add this blue suede bag to the outfit or this cute printed drawstring pouch bag.
Depending on which dress you choose, you could add this multi-colored necklace. Since it stays light so much later now, I’d also add these chic sunglasses.
I would use Rōz Root Lift Volumizing Hair Styling Spray, Santa Lucia Heat Protectant Hair Styling Oil, and Willow Glen Pre-Wash Hair and Scalp Oil to achieve her luscious locks. You can save on them all during the Sephora Savings Event now.
Dua Lipa has a book club so I think she might appreciate reading Lost Lambs, a book about a dysfunctional family by Madeline Cash.
Kaia Gerber is the queen of the trench coat. Not sure who makes the one she’s wearing but I like this oversized trench. Other options include this trench, this trench, and this one.
If you’re going to wear only a t-shirt as a top, it needs to be a nice one. I would suggest this tee, this one, and this one. For under the t-shirt, I’d wear the nude EBY t-shirt Bra or nude Relief Bra and matching nude briefs.
She’s wearing navy elastic waist pants and there are numerous options from which to choose including these tie waist pants, these elastic waist pants, these navy pants, and these navy ones.
Kaia would fit in perfectly in Paris with her red Repetto ballet shoes since a pop of red is popular in the City of Light. I also like the red Khaite suede flats, these red glove leather flats, these red satin flats, these red ballet flats, and these red leather flats.
She’s carrying a black bag but I’d swap it out for this vintage Hermès Trim Bag. This leather and canvas shoulder bag has a similar feeling. I also like this brown suede bag and this leopard tote bag.
For accessories, I’d add a Toteme scarf, delicate earrings, and tortoise sunglasses.
On a casual day, just swipe on some Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump.
One of the most anticipated books of the spring, The Plunge, by playwright Lila Raicek will be released on April 21, 2026. The psychological thriller focusing on a love triangle will take you from NYC and the North Fork to Lake Como and keep you riveted.
I immediately fell in love with this outft that Uma Thurman wore on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
The Erdem cotton-blend tweed peplum jacket and matching tweed midi skirt feel classic but modern at the same time. Perfect for spring and summer events like graduations, speaking engagements, and day weddings.
The only thing I didn’t love about her outfit was the shoes. They looked too bridal so I’d suggest the Roger Vivier slingbacks as an alternative. I’d also add a charming and whimsical Loewe x Louis Wain Futurist Cat Puzzle tote bag.
For accessories, I’d add simple gold earrings and oversized sunglasses.
The Irene Forte Wrinkle-Smoothing PM Travel Kit is the perfect pouch to throw in your bag for your next long-haul flight.
I feel like Uma might be the type to read The Meaning of Your Life: Finding Purpose in an Age of Emptiness in order to deal with the world we live in now.
“Clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them.” – Marc Jacobs
I hope this helps you plan some new outfits for this spring.
XOXO,
HC

An early series on my original Habitually Chic blog was a Friday Bon Weekend post filled with things happening that weekend. In recent years, they morphed into a long monthly New and Noteworthy post. I brought the Bon Weekend post to Substack so you don’t miss anything worth seeing, doing, or trying this week.

I wasn’t sure I was going to put together any outfits inspired by Carolyn Bessette Kennedy until I saw people on this platform were upset about all the posts about her. People wrote about Heated Rivalry for months and I didn’t hear anyone complaining about that but somehow everyone is up in arms over others discussing
