Hi everyone! I hope everything’s well on your end. I hope that the month is going well. Endometriosis Awareness Month, Women’s History Month and other themes.
We are advocating and fighting harder than ever before. So much is at stake. The concerns of inequity that many people had in 2020 is dwindling, DEI initiatives are rolling back, suicides are increasing, people are scared for their lives, people are wondering about their healthcare and if they’ll get what they need.
I understand. My endo journey isn’t over. Recent scans showed this for certain. I also had COVID in January which was pretty frightening but I just took things one day at a time. I wanted to check in because it’s been a while and like many of you, juggling life’s needs isn’t always easy. But what is easy is remembering that so many people especially in our community need assistance and support. Like them, I can’t do it alone and I’m also reaching out for volunteers after just months of a whirlwind.
