Anthropic had a big week. There’s one update worth understanding and a few others worth knowing about. Here’s what we found.

The main story: Anthropic launched Claude Opus 4.7 this week. It’s their most capable version yet for complex tasks and detailed reasoning. The part that matters most: it’s priced exactly the same as the previous version. If you’re already on a paid

Claude plan, you get a more capable tool with no change to your bill. Nothing to do on your end.

The release also includes updated safeguards that automatically filter certain high-risk requests. Most business users won’t encounter them. They work quietly in the background.

Also worth knowing: Anthropic rolled out a feature called “dreaming” inside their Managed Agents platform. In plain terms, Claude can now review patterns from its past sessions and use them to improve how it works with you over time. It’s opt-in and in preview. Worth watching.

The bigger picture: Meta’s business AI tools went from 1 million conversations a week in January to 10 million in April. That’s real adoption, not a trend line. Businesses are putting AI to work. The ones doing it now are building an advantage that will be hard to close later.
