This film was a labor of love made over two distant weekends between 3 collaborators. Starting as a project for a class at Brooklyn’s Mono No Aware, THE WOMAN WHO COUNTS! was expanded from a single reel to 2 reels.
Inspired by German expressionism and the madness of remote governmental work, THE WOMAN WHO COUNTS! dabbles in horror and comedy.
Presented on Vimeo is a constructed cassette recorded score of music and sfx. The piece first premiered at GUTD Evening II in August of 2024.
