Hello to those who follow GUTD on Sub Stack (and maybe some who do not yet)!
I hoped to release a “hello” in January 2025, but time and life moves quickly in a world that is this steeped in absurdity. Regardless, I wanted to send out a post with recent related works and what’s coming up.
This is a project that I am very happy to say I am involved with. Transformers: Terminal is a feature film that I (Joshua) played a supporting role in, made by a group of friends and colleagues that premiered at the legendary Anthology Film Archives in NYC and the Senator in Baltimore in the month of March. Creative forces Miles Engel-Hawbecker & Theresa Tomi Faison created something truly new and forward thinking. The film is a wild dive into the edges of fandom and internet based lives, with plenty of dark humor and body horror. The third annual GUTD EVENING screening showcase is being planned and organized. Set for late July/early August 2025, we shall return for another night of film, video, & fun. Here’s a poster preview :)

I (Joshua) have been finishing my latest full length album under the moniker LunchBox President, which has been taking up most of my free time. The record should be arriving to physical and digital music stations by mid-summer, so be on the lookout for the related visual campaign and music videos.
