In January, someone sent me a DM.
“Hey, I was wondering if you ever thought of doing a series on this visual? I’ve made it my home screen and I’d love to see it growing.”
Uhh... YES!
Loved the idea.
So that’s what we’ve been doing. Every month, one new version. The same visual, just a little further along.
In January we had just the seed. The bare beginning. Now we’re in May and the seed has broken ground. There are roots. A shoot. The work is really starting the show.
The months ahead are still faded out. Which is kind of the point.
(And I know most flowers don’t actually bloom in December. But you get the idea.)
Most of you have been screenshotting the Instagram or Facebook posts to use as wallpaper. And honestly, I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner, but those images often aren’t crisp enough for a lockscreen or a desktop background.
So let’s make this an actual series. Every month, I’ll send the high-res file directly, and anyone who wants it can use it.
Here’s May. A mobile wallpaper format and a desktop version, both below. Free, no strings. And June arrives when May wraps up.
One more thing:
I genuinely love seeing how these visuals travel. If you’re using this series, or any visual, somewhere out in the world, show me.
And just like how this series started, if you have an idea or a wish, I want to hear it! Maybe we can build something cool together :)
Hit reply or find me on socials. I read almost everything.
Talk soon,
Hidde
P.S. I was actually two days late this month, and trust me, I heard about it. Which honestly made me smile. It means you’re waiting for it.
