While I don’t get to write or do videos about Prescribed Fire as much as I would like (especially relative to the amount of fire I’ve seen and continue to participate in), and sometimes even forget to do so - one of the unfortunate side-effects of “growing up in fire” under some strict old-school Hotshots: PUT THE DAMN PHONE DOWN AND DIG - you miss out on photo and video opportunities.
However, when I set out specifically to go film a burn, I don’t do a bad job of it.
