The Leo Moon moves toward conjunction with the Leo Sun today, carrying the final hours of the Waning Crescent into a New Moon and solar eclipse later this afternoon. Both luminaries occupy Jupiter-ruled Sovereign pressure, concentrating the day around identity, authority, visibility and the stories we have built around who we are allowed to become. Mercury at 4° Leo is already Forming inside the Sun’s decan, giving the emerging identity language, while its opposition to Pluto presses conversations beneath appearances and toward the power structures underneath them. Mars remains newly ignited in Cancer, keeping protection and belonging active underneath Leo’s desire for expression. The Moon’s trine to Saturn provides enough structure to take an emerging realization seriously without demanding an immediate public performance.
