The First 2026-hatched Plover reported from the Winter Range!

The first Great Lakes Piping Plover chick to be reported from the winter range is from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, MI. It hatched along Platte Bay near Peterson Rd and was last seen there on July 24th.
