Charlie: “Hey Josie, you wanna go out with me?!”
Josie: “I don’t think so.”
Charlie: “I just thought it would be a lot of fun. You know, you’re a lot of fun and I’m a lot of fun, so…”
Josie: “What do you mean, I’m a lot of fun? You don’t even know me. You’re like, so strange.”
Charlie: “Is it because we’re coworkers? Is that why you won’t date me? I’m super gorgeous.”
Josie: “Look at your clothes, Charlie. Who would date a guy like you? I sure wouldn’t. I bet somebody’s out there, but I don’t think she lives in this city.”
Charlie: “What if I pay for the date… the whole thing. We can go get sandwiches!”
Josie: “That sounds so exciting, but I think I’ll pass up the amazing opportunity to get sandwiches with you.”
Charlie: “Pizza?”
Josie: “No.”
Charlie: “Sushi?”
Josie: “No.”
Charlie: “Mexican?”
Josie: “Still no.”
Charlie: “Hot dogs.”
Josie: “Are you about finished?”
Charlie: “Are you trying to tell me you don’t like me? I mean, I could be way off base here, but I’m starting to think you either don’t want to talk to me, or you don’t like food.”
Josie: “Right now I don’t want food. And I never want you.”
Charlie: “Josie, that hurts. Can we be friends?”
Josie: “You’ve got to be kidding me. I don’t like you at all. You’ve been asking me every week for three years!”
Charlie: “I haven’t shown enough interest, have I? I always waited until the end of the week. I should’ve asked at the beginning.”
Josie: “Then I would’ve just told you ‘no’ earlier in the week.”
Josie: “Ya see, there goes a gorgeous man and you just ruined it for me.”
Charlie: “You’re right. He probably just assumed you were my girlfriend.”
Josie: “Ughhhhh!”
Charlie: “Did you have plans tonight?”
Josie: “Not with you.”
Charlie: “What do you think about next weekend?”
Josie: “I have a date.”
Charlie: “What about the weekend after that?”
Josie: “I have a concert.”
Charlie: “Metallica?”
Josie: “Uh, no.”
Charlie: “End of the month?”
Josie: “My cousin is getting married.”
Charlie: “You have a date for it?”
Josie: “It won’t be you.”
Charlie: “You’re such a busy gal.”
Josie: “Are we through?”
Charlie: “Sure.”
Unnamed Woman: “Excuse me, but your man is super gorgeous. Don’t let this one get away.”
Josie: “Alright Charlie, let’s go get sandwiches.”
Charlie: “Let’s make it hot dogs.”
Josie: “You got it, Gorgeous.”
Charlie: “I think you mean, Super Gorgeous.”
