A mother in blue satin
a ring on her right hand
cupping her pregnant belly with her left

Husband and child deep in her eyes
as her breasts have increased with her heart in size

There is a lot to prepare
just as her blush lips and curled lengths of hair
she knows that her husband will be there

Just as beautiful as the time they met
she brings her leg ahead of the flowing satin sea
testifying of the strength and emotion that has settled them in
waiting for the day there’s 3 of their kin

Letting her dress slip further away
her abdomen with a life inside parts way from its silky shield

With a glance of her eyes
a tease of her hair
only the breathe that makes her breasts heave are left gasping for air

It only took one night to take one step towards destiny
giving to each other in allegiance and affection
from intense pleasantries
now two will become three presently
