It’s hard to believe that we are already more than halfway through August. I’m here all week, then go to LA and New York, and will be in Charleston most of September. Honestly, I’m counting down the days until things cool off a little bit and the humidity drops. Fall in Charleston is the very best, and last week’s burst of cool air up by the lake was such a tease. It was really nice to need a sweater!
This won’t be my best week of outfits. Some photos are taken by my nephews, sometimes I am not so clean. But that’s what I love about this column: the real life documentation of it all. The days blurred together and I’m honestly not sure if I’ve labeled the outfits by the right day. But that’s vacation for you.
Monday: A trip into town. The town of Skaneateles is so charming. It reminds me of Chatham on Cape Cod. I wish we spent more time there, but it was quite a hike from our cabin.

Tuesday Night: Sunset at the Lake.

Weds AM: hot tub! (It had been cleaned, rest assured)
Thursday: Wine Tasting at Anyela’s.
Friday: Lake life!
Saturday: I didn’t snap a pic but then I found this from my family group chat. We had a really rough trip home. This was from our Atlanta airport delay.
Sunday: Home sweet home and at my favorite evening Pilates class.
