Thank you to everyone, locals and visitors who came to the ‘Save The Quay’ fundraiser Friday night at The Gorran Haven Village Hall.
The Hall was packed so extra chairs were borrowed from the Coast Path Cafe. The hard working volunteers in the kitchen served up at least 70 people pizza with salad all within 20 minutes.
And still people kept arriving.
Geoff Fox gave an informative and heart rendering speech about the history of the harbour quay and the need to carry out urgent repairs. Some of the pictures and diagrams certainly hit home.
The Hoodle finished off this amazing evening with some great jazz/country music.
You all contributed to raise £850 on the night towards the much needed repairs.
