📍 Brookgreen Gardens | 1931 Brookgreen Drive, Murrells Inlet
📅 Every Wednesday & Saturday, 6–10 PM | Through August 22
🌿 This summer, Brookgreen is after dark — and worth it. Thirty larger-than-life glass sculptures by artist Craig Mitchell Smith are installed throughout the gardens and illuminated as evening falls. Live music, food trucks, and Austin’s Harvest Restaurant round out the night. Tickets required (separate from daytime admission); members can grab a season pass.

🍅 Mix TJ pimento cheese + ranch dressing (the kind from the fridge) in a bowl. Cut an heirloom tomato into chunks. Slice some cucumbers if you like them. Throw in some basil leaves. Enjoy a knock-off salad from the Farm in Bluffton with minimal effort.
🥂 Pair with a crisp Cali Sauvi B like the Rodney Strong Alexander Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Tucked into a shopping center in Myrtle Beach, Little Italy is easy to miss and worth seeking out — a surprisingly large room with food that outperforms its strip-mall address.
Why go: Because this is not a tourist trap. Located in an unassuming shopping center off Business 17 — but the moment you walk in, you’ll feel like the exterior doesn’t match the interior. A casual spot with excellent Italian food and service.
What we’d order again: you can’t go wrong with the the chicken piccata or chicken marsala, but really everything on the menu is excellent. Start with an Aperol spritz!
