Summer Light: Art by Night
📍 Brookgreen Gardens | 1931 Brookgreen Drive, Murrells Inlet
📅 Every Wednesday & Saturday, 6–10 PM | Through August 22
🌿 This summer, Brookgreen is after dark — and worth it. Thirty larger-than-life glass sculptures by artist Craig Mitchell Smith are installed throughout the gardens and illuminated as evening falls. Live music, food trucks, and Austin’s Harvest Restaurant round out the night. Tickets required (separate from daytime admission); members can grab a season pass.

Read: Yesteryear is the talk of instagram (and TikTok, Facebook, TV shows, and real life conversations) and is the story of a "tradwife" influencer who gets transported back to the 1850s to actually live the life she's been performing online. It’s a wild ride.
Pour: A smooth California Chardonnay like the Chalk Hill Russian River Valley Chardonnay is easy to sip on the beach while reading your latest book. Caleb’s mom, Amelia, would approve.
Pair: sourdough bread, of course, with a whipped feta spread or your own churned butter
Healthy never looked so good — or tasted this tropical.
Why Go: Five locations across the Grand Strand (Georgetown, Market Common, Conway, Pawleys Island, plus a food truck) means there's almost no excuse not to stop.
What to order: We tried the Lil’ Mermaid Smoothie for two reasons: tasty ingredients (Pitaya, banana, pineapple, strawberries, & coconut milk) + fun name!
