Matthew Lettini · A Good Enough Newsletter

Time for another season of everyone’s favorite a newsletter you receive!

There’s something about the calendar flipping years that makes people want to commit to doing something new (or at least better than before). We’ve supposedly been making New Year's resolutions since as far back as Babylonian times so maybe it’s just hard wired into our DNA now. We’re also especially bad at keeping them, so maybe it’s best to aim low!

And of course, Good Enough can help with those low goals!

  • Want a low-friction place to write more or just a distraction from endless social scrolling? Get on the Pika train!

  • Need to bring a little order to your work life? Jelly is the easiest shared inbox platform on the planet—perfect for reducing email chaos.

  • Curious to learn something new? Teach yourself a bit of HTML and create a site on Yay.Boo. In just seconds, you can share your work with the world.

As for me, my goal is to spend more time in real life with people. So far, that has manifested as working from a coworking space with my friends. Having a group of people to go out to lunch with a couple of times a week has absolutely got my year started off right.

We’re all just trying to stay warm, not sick, and survive a cold winter so far. Barry rearranged his office, finally. Cade is learning how to be a dog dad. James’ house renovations are going great, no problems or fuckups at all, 10/10 would renovate again. Patrick got a good night of sleep! Shawn escaped the winter in Asia (again). And I finally replaced my gaming PC potato, and the new one has sick LED fans.

We’re working on our products, too. We recently added emoji reactions to Jelly comments 💬🤪🎉, made replying more personalized, are in the midst of a Google Integration, are continuously (and always) pushing out smaller wins and bugs fixes, and we’re now getting out of our comfort zone with some actual marketing and advertising…

If you see us talking about Jelly in person at an Expo, we might be giving away jelly beans. We are marketing experts now.

With Pika, we’ve released the Pulse publicly, added custom date formats, and added a feature that will give you a writing prompt when you have writer’s block.

We resolve to share all the links, all the time.

What do you call a fake noodle?

An Impasta.
