As many of you know Andy and I have been living without a kitchen since early January. Well, it's not that we don't HAVE a kitchen. It's just that the kitchen has no floors. Nothing in the drawers, and the countertops are being held up by 2x4's. Every item in the kitchen was boxed up and sent far way for mold remediation.
When the LA fires were in our area we left town. When we came back a pipe had burst under our sink. And the kitchen flooded. There is nothing to put your kitchen swimming pool into perspective like CA's worst fires.
We wait for approval from insurance to begin construction. Which will hopefully be soon. The point is, when you have one cutting board, plastic spoons, and a borrowed knife from your mom you adapt. Your cooking adapts. We've been keeping things as simple as possible. Hummus with cut up veggies and…
