If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been lately — short answer: life happened.
I’ve been fighting off a stubborn cold, deep in the weeds building a brand-new peptide website, and spending a lot of time helping my mom while she continues recovering in a rehab facility after breaking her femur. It’s been one of those seasons where everything feels important, urgent, and emotionally layered all at once.
Not bad things — just full things.
So if I’ve been quieter than usual, that’s why.
The upside? I’ve got some good stuff to share now.
A week ago I felt that familiar scratchy throat → head pressure → fatigue progression that usually turns into a full-blown cold for me. Normally I’d just ride it out, hydrate, sleep, and complain a little (okay, a lot).
But this time I decided to experiment a bit — carefully and intentionally — using two peptides I’m already very familiar with:
TA-1 (Thymosin Alpha-1)
KPV
The goal wasn’t to “shut down” inflammation completely — because we need inflammation to fight infections — but rather to support immune signaling and prevent things from spiraling into a long, dragged-out recovery.
TA-1 is known for immune modulation and helping the body mount a more organized immune response rather than a chaotic overreaction. KPV, especially for me, tends to calm excessive inflammatory signaling and support gut and systemic balance.
What I personally noticed:
My sore throat didn’t escalate the way it normally does.
I never fully crashed into that deep exhaustion phase.
Congestion and pressure stayed manageable instead of miserable.
Overall duration felt shorter than my typical colds.
Was it 100% because of the peptides? Impossible to say. But based on how my body usually responds, this felt meaningfully different even thought aspects of it have been annoying like my eyes getting congested instead of my nose. LOL
I’ll probably do a deeper standalone post soon walking through exactly how I approached dosing, timing, and what I’d tweak next time — because I know a lot of you are curious about immune peptides when you’re actively sick.
(And yes — always your reminder: research use, not medical advice, and your body is not my body.)

This has been the other massive time sink — in the best way.
For a long time I’ve wanted a central hub where people could:
Actually understand peptides (not just hype them)
Compare vendors and pricing transparently
See research dosing protocols organized cleanly
Avoid sketchy info floating around Reddit and Telegram
Have real tools instead of scattered spreadsheets and screenshots
So… I built it.
The site is officially live, and this is what’s available right now:
Each peptide has:
Mechanisms of action
Benefits and use cases
Research dosing protocols (clearly labeled as non-clinical)
Safety notes and contraindications
Vendor links where that peptide is available
This alone has been a monster project — but it’s the foundation for everything else.
You can:
Browse vendors
See discount codes
Read and leave reviews
(Per-peptide reviews are coming next.)
The goal here is transparency and community feedback — not just who shouts the loudest on social media.
This is an upgraded version of what many of you were already using — but faster, cleaner, and much easier to compare across vendors.
Right now you’ll find:
TDEE calculator
Protein calculator
Peptide calculators
More tools are coming. My main question for you is what do you want to see? What tools would be useful for you and your journey?
One important note: Reviews were temporarily broken last week (tech gremlins 🙄), but they’re now fully working again — and I’ll be running giveaways tied to reviews to encourage people to help build the database. So if you have used a vendor please leave them a review.
I’m genuinely excited about this platform. It’s something I wish existed when I started down the peptide rabbit hole years ago.
On top of all of this, helping my mom navigate rehab after a broken femur has been emotionally heavy in ways I didn’t fully anticipate. Hospitals and rehab facilities have a way of pulling up old nervous system patterns, patience tests, and a lot of perspective all at once.
It’s reminded me (again) that optimizing health isn’t just about peptides, labs, or protocols — it’s about resilience, nervous system regulation, boundaries, and energy management too.
Sometimes the most “biohacker” thing you can do is slow down and protect your bandwidth.
Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing:
A deeper breakdown of TA-1 + KPV during acute illness
Walkthroughs of the new website features
How to use the peptide database effectively
How I personally evaluate vendors and quality
Some fun new tools and expansions coming to the platform
If there’s anything specific you want me to cover, hit reply or drop a comment — I always read them.
Thanks for sticking with me during the quieter stretch. I’m glad to be back in the flow.
