Welcome to “Another 52 Weeks,” my Saturday photo series of random images from my journey as a photographer.
Even though I don’t do “themes,” per se, these photos have an underlying one running through them. The summer is often the busiest and most travel-filled section of the year, and over the next month I will be on the road quite a bit for business and family obligations.
Picking this week’s set was a start-stop-start project that occurred while I was away from home. When I started putting it together, I noticed the selection seemed to focus on the act of going into or out of various places, or buildings and homes that had been left behind.
It wasn’t an intentional move on my part, but I thought it was worth noting.
What do you see in this week’s set? Does a particular image catch your attention? Thanks as always for stopping by, and let me know what you think.
This week’s “Visual Story” looked at a photo walk through Coney Island shortly before the famous park closed for the season.
These “Visual Stories,” which combine a series of photos with a short narrative, are published on Tuesdays. You can find more here.
Thank you again for taking the time to look at my work. I do appreciate it.
Thanks for reading Our Reality Show! This post is public so feel free to share it.
