G.K.’s Daily is expanding from sharing excerpts of Chesterton’s work to publishing reviews, commissioned art, and other work.
Chesterton is a wonderful author, the prophetic sage of the nineteenth century. Available options for reading him are not so wonderful.
Hardcovers charge a high premium and are well worn. Cheap shoddy paperbacks, often direct-to-print and poorly edited, are the remainder. Ebooks are the much same and totally ethereal besides. Chesterton doesn’t deserve this. You, the reader, don’t deserve this. Future generations reading him don’t deserve this.
Which is why we’re publishing quality clothbound editions of Chesterton’s public domain works; starting with Orthodoxy. We also hope to reprint the defunct Ignatius collected series and fund other Christian works and art.
