I’ve wanted to start a blog for a while. The previous design didn’t have the modules I needed for a blog or portfolio, so I rebuilt everything using Hugo - a static site generator.
It turned out to be more work than anticipated.
2022 update: It was more work than I was prepared for, so I re-did the website again.
2023 update: Same situation. Another redesign.
2024 update: Third redesign for similar reasons.
At some point the pattern becomes the story. Each iteration teaches something new, and the next one is always better than the last - even if “better” just means “I’ll probably rebuild this too.”
